1. Slow down. Accelerate more slowly to save on petrol.
2. Use cruise control if the road is reasonably flat and you are not in traffic.
3. Check your tyre pressure. Low tyre pressure will cause excessive resistance on the road.
4. When driving at high speeds keep your windows up.
5. Replace your air filter. A clean air filter helps your engine to run more efficiently and saves on petrol.
