Do You Know Why You Need A Regular Engine Oil Change?

The car’s engine is the key to the car, no matter what you do to try and improve the performance of your car such as new tyres, custom work etc., the engine will still always be the most important part of it.
Within the engine, the engine oil’s main purpose is to lubricate the moving parts, engine oil also cleans and inhibits corrosion as well as cooling the engine by carrying heat away from moving parts.

As the engine oil runs low or get’s dirty, the effect of the engine oil is reduced and as a result more wear and tear is put on the engine leading to you having to replace parts sooner rather than later. Make sure you check the engine oil levels regularly so you know when you are getting low. It is not as difficult as you may think so simply open the bonnet and check today!

This is why a regular car service of which an engine oil change and an oil filter change is important and it is important not to wait another two to three months or an extra five thousand kilometres before you come in for a service.
